Learning Experience Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing high-quality learning content, designing interactive activities, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional learning solutions. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Design learning solutions to drive mindset, skill, and behavior change to achieve business outcomes
Research and develop learning content on various subjects, and deploy them as part of a blended learning strategy
Develop training materials that align with a blended training delivery strategy, including but not limited to: web-based training (WBT), instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and hands-on practical training
Design interactive activities, such as simulations, role-plays, and group discussions, to enhance learner engagement and retention
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning content
Develop clear and concise learning objectives, outcomes, and assessments
Create engaging and visually appealing learning materials, including presentations, handouts, learning aids and facilitator guides
Ensure learning content is aligned with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
Work closely with the project team to ensure seamless delivery of learning solutions
Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest quality of learning content and activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
Proven experience in researching and developing learning content
Experience in designing interactive activities and simulations
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
Excellent research and analytical skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box for innovative learning solutions
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, and Microsoft 365; minimum 2 years experience in Storyline 360 required
Experience with multimedia and graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
Nice to Have:
Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
Experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia development
Certification in instructional design or a related field
